Jägermeister Tattoo launches in Asia Pacific with China Duty Free

Mast-Jägermeister SE is launching a special, limited edition bottle design, Jägermeister Tattoo, exclusively in the Asia Pacific travel retail market with China Duty Free from April 2025.

Jägermeister Tattoo combines the Japanese art of Irezumi and Wabori style tattoos with the Jägermeister brand, capturing the culture and flair of the Asia Pacific region.

The original artwork depicts a bold, dynamic stag leaping through mist, framed within the Chinese word 野格 (Ye Ge), the Chinese pseudonym for Jägermeister, meaning wild character.

The illustration was designed by artist Lennart Menkhaus, well known for his high-contrast colour palettes and analogue brushwork and for creating a variety of ultra-modern surf, ocean and skate inspired art from his studio in northern Germany.

Only 20,000 bottles are available across most airports in China, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Hainan, Hong Kong, Macau and Shanghai. Jägermeister Tattoo will join Jägermeister, Jägermeister Manifest, Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee and the latest addition, Jägermeister Orange on shelf.

Mast Jägermeister SE Vice-President Global Travel Retail, Tobias Witte said: “This exciting collaboration brings to life the Jägermeister symbol through ancient Asian art. We have designed this striking new bottle to celebrate the melding of Jägermeister and the Asia Pacific region. We expect this highly collectable bottle to have huge appeal in the market.”
