STOCK ALERT: Maingear pre-built desktops now available with RTX 5060 Ti GPUs

Pricing starts at $1623 with AMD Ryzen 5 7600X packed into it.

Meanwhile, all is rosy in the UK

Overclockers is good, Scan is good. Blighty’s having a blast!

The RTX 5060 Ti page is there on Nvidia, but nobody can see it yet

Nvidia’s marketplace is usually the place to find where RTX GPUs are on sale. So far, the page shows that the 5060 Ti is on sale and asks people to “come back regularly” to see stock listings.

However, if you follow the URL structure and just change 4060 to 5060, you get this coded message saying Access Denied.

So the page is there — we’re just waiting for it.

Scratch that! the $499 dual-fan is back in stock

Newegg is in and out with stock, and we’ve got a $499 Zotac GPU back on sale.

Newegg (mostly) out of stock for now

The only one that’s left is the OC triple-fan 5060 Ti from Gigabyte for $529.

STOCK ALERT: eBuyer has a 5060 Ti for £399

MSI’s overclockable dual-fan card is available for £399. Go go go!

STOCK ALERT: Triple fans and overclocking capabilities for $529

We are wondering into $100 over the MSRP here, but if you want far better cooling and overclocking capabilities, Gigabyte’s OC card is a good way to go.

STOCK ALERT: RTX 5060 Ti now WIDELY available in UK

We’re still finding a small drip feed of 5060 Tis in the US, but UK retailers have just opened the floodgates.

Overclockers entire stock is online. Most of Scan’s stock is online. CCL is the same. The only real holdout is eBuyer.

STOCK ALERT: Gigabyte joins the chat

It’s looking more and more likely that $489 is the agreed upon price for the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti. The Gigabyte WindForce is available at Newegg for this price.

STOCK ALERT: Get a faster clock speed for $10 more

Yes this Zotac RTX 5060 Ti make look the same, but the clock speed has been turned up a little bit here. If you’re already going a bit past the MSRP by this much, what’s $10 going to do? $499 at Newegg

STOCK ALERT: RTX 5060 Ti available in the US

Newegg is the first to blink. The Zotac 16GB RTX 5060 Ti is available for $489.

STOCK ALERT: RTX 5060 Ti 16GB at eBuyer

Good news — the very 5060 Ti I reviewed is now available to buy. Bad news is its £30 over the RRP. That’s not necessarily the end of the world, given the triply fan setup for cooling, but just wanted to make that clear.

STOCK ALERT: Scan joins the party

More 16GB RTX 5060 Ti cards are dropping in the UK, including 4 over at Scan at £399!

Be patient, US. Your time will come and we’re watching like hawks.

RTX 5060 Ti is now on sale!

Check out the retailers below. Stock should be coming in now! We’ll keep you updated live of any new stock that drops, as different GPU models are usually phased in.

WHERE TO BUY RTX 5060 TI IN USA

WHERE TO BUY RTX 5060 TI IN UK

I can finally talk about it — the RTX 5060 Ti is pretty good!

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

So I actually got to do something pretty special. Not only did I review the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, but this is actually the first ever GPU review for Tom’s Guide! But rather than just navel gaze, let me give you some numbers.

Read the full review for all the detail you need to make a purchase, but in short, this is the GPU where DLSS 4 makes sense. We’re seeing an average 27% uplift in gaming performance over 4060 Ti (even more over 3060 Ti), but when you make the most of neural rendering and multi-frame gen, this is a rather splendid mid-range card.

But just make sure you get the 16GB version. We weren’t given the 8GB (and looks like others in the press didn’t get this either), but based on some of the moments where there were some subtle bottlenecking in more intensive multiplayer games without DLSS at 16GB, 8GB is going to have a tough time.

10 minutes to go… maybe!

Again, this is based on assumptions from how other retailers worked, but we’re expecting RTX 5060 Ti sales to start at 9am ET / 2pm BST. So keep it locked here and I’ll take you through the stock we see!

Who should buy RTX 5060 Ti?

nvidia rtx 5090

I know there’s a lot of GPUs now from Nvidia — the latest crop involving the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070, and now the 5060 Ti. But which one is best for you? Lets take a look at the power levels and what they give you.

  • RTX 5060 Ti: This card targets 1440p gaming, and DLSS 4 should make this a solid card for the mid-range market.
  • RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti: Given the frame rates I was able to get at 4K with all the settings turned on, these are great GPUs for getting that additional horsepower for 1440p gaming that creeps into the higher resolutions. Plus, that additional 512-bit bus will stop any sort of bottlenecking in any intensive multiplayer action.
  • RTX 5080: This is a solid target for 4K gaming. DLSS 4 is capable of great things here, but raw rendering speed doesn’t match the best of the best.
  • RTX 5090: You are a pro gamer if you’re thinking about getting the supercar of the GPU industry. Maximum everything in here.

Reminder! Buying RTX 5060 Ti in the US? Go for these first!

The price increases on RTX 5060 Ti are visible all over US retailers — to the point that there’s only one GPU that is available at the exact MSRP that Nvidia has recommended. In fact, if you’re not careful, you may end up spending up to $170 more than the suggested price!

Aim for these first, as they offer the best pricing. And if you’re in the UK, you don’t have to worry about this, as retailers like Scan and Overclockers are going for retail price.

T-minus 1 hour

If our predictions are correct, you should wee RTX 5060 Ti GPUs go on sale in just under an hour at 9am ET / 2pm BST!

Is AMD’s competition just around the corner?

AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT

At the moment, the lower-end GPU market is owned by Nvidia — jumping the gun first and launching the RTX 5060 family. But is there a competitor coming from AMD soon? Rumors suggest “yes.”

As reported by Video Cardz, the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT looks set to be announced at Computex 2025 — sporting identical 16GB and 8GB video memory configurations and (probably) being priced similar.

So if you want to wait for the pricing war between these two, hold onto that money for just a little longer.

Buying Tip #2: Create an account and pre-save your payment details

All to often I see a lot of people fall at the last hurdle of buying a high-demand product because they didn’t set up a store account before.

Whether it’s Newegg, Best Buy or anyone else, take the time now to setup an account and pre-fill in all your payment and address details. That way, everything is saved and you can just click through all of this — instead of trying to feverishly type it out while the stock drains away.

Buying tip #1: Start refreshing a few minutes before

The first tip comes from the last time I had to join a rush to buy a GPU. Given the timing of this launch seems particularly strict, then the queueing system should start at 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT on the dot.

If that’s the case, it pays to start refreshing the product page of your chosen GPU a few minutes before — that way you can hopefully be one of the first to see that “coming soon” button change to “add to cart.”

Micro Center pricing is out of control

Normally, Micro Center is the retailer that (if you’re lucky enough to live near one) you can get a better deal on Nvidia GPUs.

Well, I’m hoping that this are just temporary listing prices, because the pricing is out of control here with a 10+% price increase over the MSRP.

When do we expect sales to start?

All we know officially is that the RTX 5060 Ti is going on sale today. No launch timing has been revealed by Nvidia. That doesn’t mean I can’t use a little bit of historical context to give you a pretty good idea of when to start refreshing those product pages:

  • The RTX 5090 went on sale at 9am ET/2pm GMT
  • The RTX 5080 and 5070 cards went on sale at the same time

So if I was a betting man, I’d say the RTX 5060 Ti will go on sale at 9am ET / 6am PT in the US, and 2pm BST in the UK. We’re chasing down confirmation on this.

Let’s talk tech specs

So, as you probably already know (given you’re reading this), Nvidia announced the entire RTX 5060 family yesterday. While we’re waiting a little while longer for the 5060 to be available for sale (with the 5060 Ti coming today), Nvidia did share some specs for these.

Watch On

Reports are coming out that Nvidia has been actively preventing GPU manufacturers from giving reviewers the 8GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti. And on top of that, Team Green could not have a reviews program for the lower-end RTX 5060.

This is seemingly confirmed by LTT, as Linus released a video overnight with a rant about this — along with the uncertainty that comes with the pricing, and how that can massively impact a review of a cheaper GPU like this.

That being said, we have seen some cards available at retail price in the US, and the UK seemingly isn’t facing this problem across pretty much the entire range. So any opinions you see (including mine) will be sound — provided you go for retail price or only slightly above.

Price check: the UK’s looking good, but expect some increases in US

RTX 5070 vs RTX 5070 Ti

Welcome to the live blog! Rather than do the rudimentary intro post where I talk about the RTX 5060 Ti to appease the Google masters, let’s do something useful here and see what the pricing situation is actually looking like in the U.S. and U.K.

Starting with Britain, it’s good news! Most retailers are offering the 8GB and 16GB versions of the 5060 Ti for the suggested retail prices of £349 and £399, respectively. Best retailers to go for here are Scan and Overclockers.

Meanwhile in the U.S., I’ve got to be real, there are price increases above the MSRP going on here. With potential increases of up to $170, let’s do this right. If you are keen to get a 5060 Ti, here are the options that won’t feel like you’ve just been scalped.

On average, outside of the PNY from Newegg, we’re seeing an average of a 10% increase in price for any US gamers looking to upgrade. That’s going to sting!
