WWE Star Returns For First Match In 9 Months

A WWE star returned to action for their match match since July 2024 during tonight’s April 15, 2025 episode of NXT.

With tonight’s show being the last episode before Stand & Deliver, it played host to the final qualifiers for the six-woman NXT Women’s North American Championship ladder match.

Over the past couple of weeks, Sol Ruca, Zaria, Kelani Jordan and Izzi Dame had already qualified.

In tonight’s first qualifier, Lola Vice scored the win against Tatum Paxley.

However, the final qualifier was newsworthy as it featured a return of someone who hasn’t been in action on TV for nine months – Thea Hail.

Hail had been off TV since Chase U disbanded in November, and hadn’t TV had a match since July 30.

Tonight, she made her comeback with new entrance music (which actually used to be Eddie Edwards’ entrance music in TNA), and made quick work of Karmen Petrovic.

So, the ladder match at WWE Stand & Deliver is officially Ruca vs Zaria vs Jordan vs Dame vs Vice vs Hail.

Before her match, Hail bumped into Andre Chase backstage, and gave her approval for him to start a new version of Chase U with Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors.

She did clarify she won’t be joining the new Chase U, but she’ll always be “a proud alumni”.
