No hard feelings between The White Lotus‘ Aimee Lou Wood and Saturday Night Live‘s Sarah Sherman as their few days of a headline-making but barely-there feud over a sketch parody has ended in flowers.
Wood has posted a photo on her Instagram Story of a beautiful arrangement of orange roses, pink carnations and other lovely flowers she received by Sherman days after SNL‘s White Lotus sketch featuring Sherman as Wood’s character Chelsea. For the appearance, Sherman wore prosthetic teeth and referenced fluoride.
See the flower photo below.
Wood had called Sherman’s impression “mean and unfunny,” writing on an earlier IG Story, “Last thing I’ll say on the matter. I am not thin-skinned. I actually love being taken the piss out of when it’s clever and in good spirits. But the joke was about fluoride. I have big gap teeth not bad teeth.” She also told her fans and followers, “Not [Sherman’s] fault [and] not hating on her, hating on the concept.”
What might (and should) be the final word on the matter is Wood’s bouquet photo in which she tags Sherman and writes, “Thank you for the beautiful flowers.”
